Movie review: Finding Dory #Disney #Pixar #HaveYouSeenHer & women's #FindingDory fashion
Did anyone else love Dory as much as I did?
It reminded me of the feeling I had the first time I saw Finding Nemo. In 2003 I recall sitting in a movie theatre thinking I had never really seen a cartoon feature film look quite like it before. The colors, and the music just transported me under the ocean and I was loving every minute.
So many years passed, and that movie never faded away.
Then we heard about Finding Dory.
Finding Dory? Really? A full length feature film about Dory?
I was totally skeptical going in. But, I had to give it a chance because it is Disney. And I love me some Disney...
Then baby Dory came on the screen. I almost died from cuteness overload. I want to buy her. Not a real Dory, but a plush one. She is so stinking cute! Her little voice was so heart warming. You get to see her grow up. You feel sort of sad watching her lose everything. But she still has Nemo. Nemo believes in her.
The new friends Dory makes are pretty interesting.
I'm also a fan of Hank. Welcome aboard, sir. Don't forget Bailey and Destiny, either. Just wait, Destiny has a special way to talking to Dory that you will find yourself doing randomly days after you see the movie.
Without ruining the entire movie for you, it is a similar plot line to Nemo. Personally, I liked this one better. I know that is hard to believe, but it is true.
Didn't you hear about all those adults crying during Toy Story 3? Yeah, this was one of those moments for me. I loved every minute of this movie and I will be watching it again about 1,000 more times.
Even my two year old kept screaming "fishy, fishy!" So it held her attention.
Did you see it? What did you think?
